iris has completed a 9 month brand DNA project to rejuvenate the Sony Ericsson brand. Helping Sony Ericsson in the first stage of it’s evolution from a handset manufacturer to a complete communication entertainment company.

We developed the creative platform ‘energised reality’. A springboard that illustrates how Sony Ericsson energise our everyday world and fuses it with a world of limitless entertainment. We have created a new tone of voice for the brand across all communication channels including internal comms and PR.

Sony Ericsson will never sound like a corporate organisation but will inspire you like a friend. The new tone of voice is full of suggestion and encourages everyone to discover a world of endless possibilities.

In the new brand DNA, every time Sony Ericsson pops up it will be inherently entertaining - whether that’s a poster, an app, a film, an experience or anything in between.

The new brand DNA encourages ideas that have value to people – ideas that they will want to spend time with and share. Not just advertising ideas but ideas that can be advertised.
